Arrival & Meeting Point: Arrive at Charao Island by 7:00 AM (morning slot) or 4:00 PM (evening slot). Meet your naturalist guide and fellow bird enthusiasts at the designated meeting point near the jetty. Get a short briefing on the plan for your birdwatching session before the journey begins.

Start of the Experience: Begin your guided birdwatching session as you glide peacefully through the scenic mangrove surroundings of Charao. The calm waters and lush greenery provide the perfect backdrop for spotting a wide variety of bird species.

Birdwatching Session: Spend the next two hours observing both resident and migratory birds in their natural habitat. Look out for colourful kingfishers, herons, cormorants, egrets, brahminy kites, and, with a bit of luck, rare species like the Western Reef Egret or the White-bellied Sea Eagle.

Expert Insights: Throughout the session, your knowledgeable naturalist will help identify different birds, share interesting facts about their habits, and explain the ecological importance of the mangroves as a vital bird habitat.
