Itenaries
  1. Meet Your Instructor: Your surfing journey begins with an introduction to your instructor, who will guide you through the fundamentals of surfing and set the stage for an enjoyable learning experience.

  2. About the Surfboards: Learn the basics of surfboard handling. Your instructor will help you understand your board and teach you how to handle it properly on land and in the water.

  3. The Pop-Up: Learn the critical skill of going from lying down to standing up on your board. It may feel like an awkward frog jump, but it's essential for riding waves and doubles as a great warm-up exercise.

  4. Get Comfortable: Enter the water and start getting familiar with the ocean's flow and how to manage your surfboard. Your instructor will guide you every step of the way to help you feel at ease.

  5. Pop-Up and Catch Your Wave: Once you’re comfortable, it’s time to pop up and catch your first wave! Your instructor will assist in spotting the best waves for you and help you find your rhythm for a successful pop-up.

  6. Repeat: Surfing is all about practice! Keep repeating step 5, refining your technique and gaining confidence with each wave.

At Octopus Surf School, your safety and experience are our top priorities. If the weather or surf conditions aren’t favorable, we may need to cancel lessons to ensure your safety. But don't worry! We'll quickly reschedule your lesson to give you the best possible surfing experience when the conditions are ideal.
