1. What is wakeboarding?Wakeboarding is a water sport where you ride on a short, wide board, resembling a surfboard, while being towed behind a motorboat across its wake. It's a thrilling blend of surfing, water skiing, and snowboarding.
2. How do you get up and stay up on a wakeboard? To get up, roll your heels down beneath your bottom while keeping your knees close to your chest. Keep your feet, knees, and shoulders facing the boat, and look straight ahead, not at your feet. Stay in this crouched position until the board rises completely out of the water.
3. What happens if you fall off?If you fall off, just relax and wait in the water. The instructor will bring the handle back to you, and you can try again.
4. Can I wear my spectacles? It is not recommended to wear spectacles while wakeboarding, and we also advise against wearing goggles for safety and comfort reasons.
5. How hard is wakeboarding?Wakeboarding can be challenging for beginners, especially those with no board sports experience. However, it is generally considered a fun and manageable sport with practice!
