Our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners who are ready to take their practice and teaching to the next level. This intensive course will deepen your understanding of advanced yoga techniques and provide the tools needed to lead transformative, dynamic classes. The program covers Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, and teaching methodologies, empowering you to become a confident, skilled, and versatile yoga teacher.

  • Yoga Anatomy: Gain comprehensive knowledge of yoga anatomy, focusing on proper alignment, safety, and injury prevention.
  • Diverse Yoga Styles: Explore different yoga styles to increase your versatility as a teacher and deepen your practice.
  • Meditation Techniques: Refine your meditation practice for enhanced relaxation, focus, and mindfulness.
  • Teaching Skills: Build the confidence to teach with clarity, learning advanced teaching techniques, hands-on adjustments, and injury prevention.
  • Advanced Transitions & Props: Learn advanced Vinyasa Flow transitions and how to use B.K.S. Iyengar’s props to enhance postures.
  • Ayurveda & Kriya Yoga: Understand Ayurvedic principles and integrate Kriya Yoga into your teaching.
  • Mudras & Bandas: Explore the transformative power of Mudras and Bandas to influence the body and mind.

This course, led by certified and experienced instructors, will guide you on an immersive journey in the beautiful surroundings of Goa. By the end of the training, you’ll possess the skills and knowledge to teach yoga confidently and create meaningful change in your students' lives.


Highlights
  • Yoga Mat: Please bring your own mat for personal use. A mat will be provided if needed.
  • Comfortable Attire: Loose-fitting clothes suitable for yoga practice. White attire is required for ceremonies.
  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated with a refillable bottle.
  • Writing Materials: Bring a notebook and pen for lectures and note-taking.
  • Personal Essentials: Toiletries, towels, light jacket or shawl, dry-fit clothes, flashlight, mosquito repellent, international adapter, vitamins, medication, earbuds, and small towels for yoga practice.

Rules & Regulations:

  1. Quiet Hours: Lights out at 10 PM. Please keep noise to a minimum to maintain a peaceful environment.
  2. Use Bluetooth/Headphones: Use Bluetooth or headphones for music/audio to avoid disturbing others.
  3. No Eating in Dorms: Eating inside the dormitories is not allowed.
  4. Substance-Free Zone: Smoking, drinking, and substance use are strictly prohibited.
  5. Respectful Behavior: Any form of misbehavior, disrespect, or substance abuse will lead to immediate removal from the premises.
  6. Personal Belongings: Take care of your personal items. We are not responsible for lost belongings.
  7. Cleanliness: Keep shared spaces, including washrooms, clean. Please clean your yoga mat after class.
  8. Food Policy: Food is self-service. Kindly wash your plates and glasses after use. Avoid food waste.
  9. Content Consent: Let us know in advance if you're not comfortable with photos or videos being taken.
  10. Physical Adjustments: Inform us if you're uncomfortable with physical adjustments during practice.
  11. No Outsiders: Outsiders are not allowed on the premises. Please refrain from engaging with non-residents.
  12. Attendance Requirement: A minimum of 90% attendance is mandatory, except in case of illness.
  13. No Substance Discussions: Conversations about alcohol, drugs, or other substances are not permitted.
  14. Curfew: If you go outside, please return by 10:30 PM.
  15. Dietary Requirements: Only vegetarian food is served. Please notify us of any dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free) for proper arrangements.

Weekly Highlights:

  • Saturday: Workshops (AcroYoga, Abhyanga, Sound Healing)
  • Sunday: Full Day of Rest (No meals provided)

Note: The schedule may vary based on the group dynamics, weather conditions, and facilitator preferences.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

  1. Cancellation by Participant:

    • More than 45 days before the start date: Full refund, minus transaction fees.
    • Within 45 days but more than 30 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total retreat or TTC cost.
    • Within 30 days of the start date: No refund will be provided.
  2. Cancellation by Shiva Yoga:

    • In the rare case that Shiva Yoga cancels the retreat or TTC due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
    • Shiva Yoga reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat or TTC based on minimum participant numbers or other logistical reasons.
  3. Refund Processing:

    • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request.
    • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  4. Non-Refundable Deposit:

    • All deposits are non-refundable, as they secure your spot in the retreat or TTC.
    • In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred to a future retreat or TTC within one year, subject to availability.
