Azulejos. Pronounced “ah-zoo-LAY-jos,” this art form takes center stage in a unique cultural workshop in North Goa. The Panjim : Azulejos Tile Workshop (2 Tiles) allows you to immerse yourself in the Portuguese tradition of hand-painting ceramic tiles within a cozy studio setting. Beyond simply painting, you’ll uncover the techniques behind the region’s signature blue-and-white motifs. The result is 2 small, handmade pieces of art that will be fired and returned to you-authentic keepsakes from your time in Goa.

•   Art Centre Tour: Look around the creative space, observing traditional motifs and artistic methods on display.

•   Tile Painting Session: Craft your own design with hands-on support from a skilled artist—materials are included.

•   Furnace Baking: Your finished tile undergoes firing in the kiln to preserve the design permanently.
