Overview
Being the only operator for white water rafting in the state, Goa Rafting conducts trips on Mhadei rivers; one bordering the Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary.
· Minimum 2 people required to book (Note: in case only 2 people book, they will be joined by other customers in the raft, there needs to be a minimum of 5 – 6 people in total in the raft)
· The activity runs every day, with two time slots: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
· First trip commences at 10:00 am, for which the arrival is expected to be 9:30 am.
· Second trip commences at 03:00 pm, for which the arrival is expected to be 02:30 pm
· End of the trip with Boarding the Mini-vans and get back to the meeting point
Trips are available every season from July to September depending on water conditions
Highlights
- This is a special rafting tour of 10 km in length with 30 or more class 2 to 4 rapids. one of the best trip available in South India. Starting with the technical and fast Surla River we will encounter class 3 to 4 rapids called “Spiders Breath”, “Gates of Delirium” and “Heroes for Zeros”. We run this small, steep river all the way down into the grand finale, a one kilometer section of non stop white water, with drop after drop to the confluence with it’s big sister the Mahdei. From there we enjoy the bouncy waves for 10 km until our finish point. This trip is not a regular feature and is only run a few times a season when we have the correct water levels. It is also only open to group bookings of between 5 to 15 people.
· The rafting experience starts in Valpoi, North Goa. A Jeep ride of 15-30 min which takes guests to the river’s starting point.
Customers are requested to be at the meeting point at least 30 mins before the start of the trip
Itineraries
· This is a 3-4hour white water rafting adventure in Valpoi, Goa, set amidst the wilderness of the Western Ghats.
· The trip features 10 kilometres of river action with over 3 to 4 rapids,
· 10-15 min walk down the river, to the start point where you will receive your training and Preparation.
· After 10 kms of a once in a lifetime experience it is time to part with the Raft and bid farewell to the river. Board the Vehicle and get back to the meeting point
- Non swimmers welcome.
- Minimum age 12 years, or four feet in height.
- Secure foot wear for rafting.

Cancellation Policy

Due to current weather conditions and official advisories, Activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling, jet skiing, boat rides, kayaking, and cruises may be suspended, rescheduled, or cancelled during periods of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or rough sea conditions.
In case of cancellation due to adverse weather, customers will be offered: An alternative time slot or date. Or a full refund as per Vendor's desecration on weather cancellation policy. We strongly advise all guests to check weather updates and reconfirm their activity slots before travel
