Arrival & Registration: Arrive at Novotel Resort & Spa, Candolim by 6:00 AM. Park conveniently inside the resort and proceed to the lobby area. Meet your dive instructors, complete the registration formalities, and get a quick overview of the day’s plan.
Safety Briefing: Begin your session with a detailed safety and dive briefing at 6:15 AM. Learn about the dive plan, essential hand signals, and how to use your equipment effectively.
Pool Training Session: At 6:30 AM, take part in a one-hour pool training session where you’ll practice breathing techniques, basic underwater communication, and equipment handling in a safe, controlled environment.
Preparation & Refreshments: By 7:15 AM, change into dry clothes and enjoy a short tea or coffee break at the resort. Settle any remaining payments before heading out for the open-water session.
Departure to Jetty: At 7:45 AM, depart for the nearby jetty (approximately 4 km away). You can use your own vehicle or opt for the arranged transport.
Boat Boarding & Departure: Arrive at the jetty by 8:20 AM and board the dive boat. At 8:30 AM, the boat departs for Grande Island, where you’ll receive a final safety briefing and site introduction from your instructor.
En Route Experience: During the scenic ride, enjoy fruits, juices, and soft drinks onboard. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins as you cruise through the calm Goan waters.
Dive 1 – Historic Shipwreck Adventure: Around 9:45 AM, gear up and enter the water for your first dive. Explore a British-era shipwreck from the 1940s lying about 40 feet deep, surrounded by colourful marine life such as angelfish, snappers, butterflyfish, and parrotfish.
Surface Activities & Refreshments: At 11:00 AM, enjoy snorkelling and stand-up paddleboarding from the boat, followed by gourmet snacks and beverages served onboard at 11:30 AM.
Dive 2 – Coral Garden Exploration: By 12:00 PM, begin your second dive at the Coral Garden, where you’ll encounter vibrant corals, nudibranchs, eels, and even the occasional sea turtle.
Return Journey: At 1:00 PM, relax on deck as the boat cruises back toward the mainland, taking in the serene coastal views.
Disembarkation & Relaxation: Arrive at the jetty by 2:00 PM and return to Novotel Resort & Spa, Candolim. Freshen up, shower, and unwind after your adventure.
Photo & Video Sharing: By 6:00 PM, receive your underwater photos and videos via a digital link — the perfect souvenir from your dive.
Optional Evening Experience: End your day with an optional celebratory dinner at Novotel Resort & Spa, Candolim, sharing stories and memories from your underwater journey.
Cancellation Policy
48 hours or more before the dive: Eligible for a full refund.
24 to 48 hours before the dive: 50% refund or option to reschedule the activity.
Less than 24 hours before the dive: No refund will be provided.
If the participant feels uncomfortable after the pool training session: A full refund will be issued.
If the pool training session is completed but the sea dive is not attempted: No refund will be applicable.
Description
Duration of Activity: The total duration of the scuba diving experience is approximately 480 minutes (8 hours), offering a full-day adventure filled with underwater exploration and relaxation. Participants must keep their entire day free and should avoid booking flights on the same day as their dive for safety reasons.
Certification & Standards: All dives are conducted under SSI (Scuba Schools International) and PADI guidelines, ensuring international standards of safety, professionalism, and dive quality.
Pre-Dive Preparation: Before arrival, please download the SSI App, create your diver profile, and fill in your personal details. When departing from your hotel, share your live location via WhatsApp for smooth coordination.
Medical Form: Every diver must review and complete the medical questionnaire before participation. If you take any daily medication or answer “Yes” to any listed condition, a doctor’s clearance is required prior to the dive.
Food & Beverages: Enjoy all meals, snacks, and beverages provided by Novotel Resort & Spa, Candolim during the activity. It is recommended to have a light breakfast before arriving at the dive location.

Important Note: Participants should be in good health and well-rested before the activity. Avoid alcohol consumption or strenuous activity the night before for a safe and enjoyable dive.
