The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will be held in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2025. Organized by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) along with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting and the Government of Goa, IFFI is India’s most prestigious film festival that brings together filmmakers, artists, and cinema lovers from across the world. It serves as a global platform for showcasing outstanding films, promoting cultural exchange, and celebrating cinematic excellence. The festival features a wide range of categories including the International Competition, Indian Panorama, and Cinema of the World, along with special screenings, tributes, masterclasses, and workshops led by renowned filmmakers and industry experts.
This year’s edition focuses on youth, innovation, and new cinematic voices, highlighting both Indian and international talent. Apart from film screenings, attendees can experience interactive sessions, exhibitions, cultural performances, and the vibrant Goan atmosphere around venues like INOX Panjim and Kala Academy. The parallel Film Bazaar, now called Wavesbazaar, will offer networking opportunities for industry professionals, producers, and creators. With red-carpet galas, engaging discussions, and a blend of art and culture, IFFI 2025 promises to be an unforgettable celebration of world cinema and a major attraction for locals and visitors alike.
