In collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, DAG (formerly Delhi Art Gallery) presents A Treasury of Life: Indian Company Paintings, c. 1790 to 1835 at the Aguad Port & Jail Complex. This landmark exhibition is the largest of its kind in India, showcasing the rich diversity of Company Paintings and highlighting the artistic excellence of Indian painters. Curated by Giles Tillotson, SVP, DAG, the exhibition explores how Indian artists responded to the expectations of their patrons, leading to the creation of new visual languages within Indian art. The exhibition opens to the public on 2 December 2025 at the Aguad Port & Jail Complex, Goa, and will remain on view until mid-January 2026.
