The Chandor Heritage Trail takes you on a captivating journey through the lush hinterlands of South Goa, wherein history, way of life, and nature converge. Explore the historical remnants of the Kadamba dynasty’s capital and discover the rich legacy of an area that flourished as a trading hub. On this history stroll, find out captivating tales inclusive of the legend of the ‘Queen’s Curse’ and marvel at the 11th-century temple ruins. Visit a 500-yr-old history home and an Indo-Portuguese mansion that speaks volumes approximately the colonial era. The highlight of this experience is the scenic splendor of Chandor, wherein you’ll stroll up to a local chapel perched atop a hillock, imparting stunning views of the Kushavati River.

This experience is not a walking trail and requires transportation. Explore the village using your own vehicle or transport mode arranged at your end.

- Visit to the mansion of a former nobleman – with a tour hosted by the mansion’s owners.
- Visit all the Kadamba heritage sites in Chandor.
- Transport. Travellers will need to bring their own vehicles (cars/two-wheelers) as transport within Chandor will not be provided by us.
- Hotel pickups and drops.
- Meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner).
- Sightseeing points that fall outside of the curated route.
- We do not provide umbrellas, raincoats, hats/caps, face-masks or sanitizers.
- Please retain your vehicle throughout the experience as taxis and app-based cabs are not available in Chandor.
- Please carry your own water bottle.
- We recommend wearing comfortable footwear and using sunscreen.
- Please also carry your own umbrella/raincoat or cap/hat/sunglasses (as the weather dictates).
- Avoid handling ancient artefacts in the heritage home / mansion, as the owners have taken great care to preserve and protect these artifacts over the years.
- All our tour presenters and hosts will be wearing a face mask.
- We will avoid physical contact with guests like handshakes.
- We will be serving refreshments / meals (if applicable) in places that follow hygiene and sanitary guidelines approved by Make It Happen.
- All enclosed spaces will be sanitized.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancel up to 7 days before the Experience start time for a full refund, or within 24 hours of booking as long as the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start time.
- For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.
- If we cancel the experience due to unavoidable circumstances, then a full refund will be processed.
- For groups sizes of 15 and above, refund upon cancellation will be provided if cancellation is done 7 days prior to the booking date of the experience.
